the old Ambassador Theatre, built in 1950 and at it's peak was home to the Vere Johns Opportunity Hour talent show during the 60's, which launched the careers of many Jamaican entertainers. however, it was in an unfortunate location between the two warring communities of Rema to the south and Jungle to the north - Seventh Street was often a "no-go" area from the early 70's onward. the Ambassador fell into disuse and in the mid 70's became a youth training center for a while, but ultimately was torched and remains in disrepair.

My son has passed his G-SAT for Mona. I was excited at first but now I'm a bit Apprehensive because I dont really know anything about the school. People have been saying that yes it is a good school but I'm not really convinced. I've been trying to do some research on the school but so far its not successful because I dont see any info other than the address, telephone number etc. Can someone please help me by telling me how to get info on this school. Thank you, I'd appreciate it.
